Ranch Hotdog Vegetables Skewers

4 servings (8 skewers)

Ingredients

  • 360g jumbo of hotdogs;
  • 2 bell peppers;
  • 1 courgette;
  • Half red onion;
  • Handful of fresh parsley;
  • 35ml of olive oil;
  • 1/2tsp of garlic powder;
  • 1/2tsp of paprika;
  • Salt and pepper as taste;
  • 1tsp of dry sage;
  • 60ml of Newman’s Own Ranch dressing

Method

  1. Slice the hotdogs into thick rounds. In a small bowl, add hotdogs and marinate with Newman’s Own Ranch dressing, then set aside in the fridge
  2. Chop the bell peppers, courgette, and red onion into sizeable chunks/slices, ensuring they are not too small
  3. In a large bowl, add the cut veggies and add garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, dry sage and olive oil. Gently stir to combine everything
  4. Preheat the oven to 190C degrees
  5. Add hotdogs and veggies on wooden skewers
  6. Place the skewers on a baking tray and bake for 45 minutes, rotate them halfway through the baking time
  7. Once the skewers are ready, switch the oven to grill mode at 190C and allow it to bake for an additional 5 minutes
  8. Remove and serve with some fresh chopped parsley and, if desired, fresh lime juice. Enjoy as is or with extra Newman’s Own Ranch dressing
