Prosciutto Cups

8 prosciutto cups

Ingredients

  • 10 prosciutto slices
  • 150g of cottage cheese
  • 1 pear
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • Honey as taste
  • 50g of Newman’s Own Blue Cheese dressing

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170C degrees fan and lightly green a muffin pan (I use butter)
  2. Put one piece of prosciutto in each muffin tin and fold in the edges into the centre to create a cup. If you need additional prosciutto, you can use the extra two slices or bake two more “cups”, this because all depends on the size and thickness of the slices
  3. Bake for 15 minutes or until the prosciutto looks crispy
  4. Take out the cups from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes
  5. In a food processor, combine cottage cheese and Newman’s Own Blue Cheese dressing, mix until well combined, and set aside
  6. Wash and slice one pear thinly, make sure to peel it beforehand, and set aside
  7. Once the prosciutto cups cooled off add your cups to a serving dish. In each cup add some cheese mixture, fresh basil and a slice of pear
  8. Drizzle cups with honey and enjoy
